A real fire after the summer break/ for this beginning of term: a
smooth start, very smooth, with a seminar on the Internal Guide, rise
in power and descent to the more profound and thanks on the days
of tribute to Silo and full throttle for the beginning of the works ...
The Park lives and vibrates to the sound of machines of all kinds, it
is transformed into a human anthill with ceaseless activity, however,
interrupted... by "cafecitos", giggles, interchanges and ceremonies to
find the strength, to remember the meaning and the inspiration... There
are also some most intimate and most valuable moments with ourselves...

Renovation of the Centre of Studies: here we go!
The renovation of the Centre of Studies: here we go!
From Monday, September 26, the grand work has started! After unloading
the truck at the warehouse for the duration of the work (second trip,
about 15 tons of wood), we removed all cables, including switches and
lights, removed the 1st floor, removed all the false ceilings,
demolished the gate (and its big pillar), picked up the scaffolding ...
the demolition of the walls could begin! Tons of rubble and waste have
been taken to the three recycling centres in the region ... and we
thank the gods every day (and Talib!) for the gift of the car which had
a hard time !
Within days, the Centre has been transformed: it is now a big and
beautiful skeleton ... and an old stone structure that will be removed
on October 6, 7 and 8 (starting with the roof tiles, of course, and
without breaking them if possible!)

But the park is also a hectare of greenery, trees, shrubs, hedges, grass ... and a lagoon!
It needs to be prepared for the winter and be beautified a little before next Spring: All the reeds and creepers will be cut, cleared, and of course taken to the dump. But to the arms already tested rest assured it's much lighter than concrete blocks! And with a happy team, it's also more fun! Volunteer to your boots!

Seminar about failure:
" After many days I discovered this great paradox: Those who bore failure in their hearts were able to illuminate the final victory, while those who felt triumphant were left by the wayside like vegetation whose life is muted and diffuse."
It
is during the great failures, when expectations fall and mirages
vanish, that the possibility of a new direction in life arises. This is
what we propose to observe and work carefully during this seminar of a
few hours duration.It will be followed on the same day by the seminar about reconciliation.

26 and 27, 22 people participated in the seminar on the Internal Guide.
On Friday night, the reading of a chat by Silo "meditation, silence and
the internal guide" put the participants in the best conditions to work
on this issue. The recommendations were valuable and relevant, the
interchanges also intense.The day took place in the special atmosphere that seems to create itself when it is about Silo's Message: something very sweet manifested as a whisper, like a Presence, like a soft but firm support to deepen on the subject.
Some friends had volunteered to prepare a beautiful cooked meal to close the day and the atmosphere was so friendly that we could not bring ourselves to leave.
Making paths...
To anticipate our winter
walks, the first stones of the paths were laid ...But nature, strong
and generous, interferes and fits ... limping along these stones still
unstable, we will have to revise some places ... Welcome to the
volunteers to complete this work and yet walk the path of learning to
improve our park.
The Fountain
And while all are working around the Centre of Studies, he is an inspired Master stonemasonand morphologist who inspires us around our Fountain already taking shape...

The preparatory work for the renovation of the Centre for Studies
Clear , remove, order, eliminate, undo ... all that we put so much time and love doing! What personal work: dispossession, ephemeral things, intent, the future has primacy over the past ... and so too does the constant simultaneity in what we do: work outside to better observe what is going on within!
It would not be simple if each of us was alone. But then: we are not alone, and the interchange is extensive over the days and evenings where everyone does their energy contribution and testimonials ... And while we think of things to cast away, there is enrichment for all!
Tribute to Salvatore and Silo ...
Sept 16, 17 and 18, friends have chosen to meet at the Park to commemorate Silo’s departure to other spaces and other times exactly one year ago.
On Friday evening, around a large fire in the fireplace (which we had lit as a way to thank for the workshops of fire, as a wink to one of the great Masters of fire), a large circle was formed.
Extracts of Silo’s written work were chosen by the participants to be read, to discuss what had had the greatest impact in their lives, or what guides their quest, or even to interpret the feeling of the moment. Then a ceremony, very deeply felt was done: THANK YOU SILO!
Saturday and Sunday, the projection of the Sage of the Andes made it possible to see or review this film that received awards three times at festivals in Canada and the United States and to remember the bumpy ride of the Siloists.
The best tribute probably ever made to Silo had been written and delivered in 1999 by Salvatore Puledda, who is gone too, around 10 years ago. We did not fail to mention also this "close friend and disciple of Silo", a brilliant and humorous interpreter of the siloist doctrine.
It was with great excitement that we could see the footage at the International Humanist meeting in Santiago, Chile, this video was subtitled in French for the occasion: THANK YOU SALVA!

And just... the Tokarev Report has arrived accompanying this double homage...

story of Yuri Tokarev leads us from Russia to Argentina, passing
through India. The appearance of fiction in this novel does not
deceive, however, the informed reader. If there is something
extraordinary is the fact that the plot takes place before the
de-structuring of the East, announced here, which gives this work the
weight it deserves.
We can not say if the story originally published in 1981 was confirmed
in any way during the extraordinary events that occurred in the 80's.
But we must admit that this novel, "friendly,
absurd and very original", presented in context, raises questions and
challenges any reader who asks, in 2011, about the human possibilities
to influence the future announced."

These two books resonate strongly if the reader travels their lines from a particular angle: what if behind the fiction and behind the novel slips into the experience? What can be experienced and what are the investigative leads to begin new quests? Presentation (with Slide Show) and interchange.
The inauguration of the Salita (Small Hall) in Marseille
On September 24, an event took place 800 km from our park: The inauguration of the first Salita in France. Silo's Message expresses itself in the world and for the future.
The project had germinated in the heart a few friends in Marseille who often came here to the park: those who were there, those who returned and those who had joined together and made their entry to the School, all together now also to open this place of inspiration. The Hall is also the result of the insistence of an angel, sent by our friend Philippe Suard, we often spoke to and thanked: Because he loved the parks, because the Small Hall is in la Belle de Mai - his neighbourhood! - And he was the first Messenger in Marseille. 2 years after his departure, it is a gift for him.
What happened in the Salita was not an evocation of the past, but something that was going into the future, with great joy, care and gentleness. Over 70 people gathered by "experiences" of Well Being and the Force. Many ambassadors from Paris, Toulouse, etc... But above all - so many - relatives, friends and families of the Messengers of Marseille. A step that now opens the opportunity to spread the Message in this city of a thousand colours, other Messengers dreaming of Salitas in their cities and of communities in their neighbourhoods.
To help finance the Centre of Studies...
LExpo Photos performed in August at the Centre of Studies has been requested to participate at the opening reception in a retirement home at 100 km of the park. The same pictures will be presented and the slide show of sculptures (already with an exhibition project of the same sculpture). Thus we are offered the opportunity to collect a few more in our Centre and also about Silo’s teachings, our park and invite new people.
"Silo’s unpublished speeches"
Taking old and new texts, this small (internal) edition is intended to have at hand valuable "charlas" (informal talks, NT) of the Master to read them together or separately whenever we want, without having to do archaeological excavations in our respective computers.
Volume 1 will be available within two weeks (only available at the Park) t and all proceeds will go directly into the pot for the works of the Centre of Studies.
| Conclusions |
Dear Friends of the Park
So here we are with three months left of non-stop work... This could
deter some. But in this period of intense activity, the moments of
grace are not lacking as the Park continues to radiate its generosity
and beauty...
Also after the harvest (yes, yes: at least 10 kg harvested this year!),
The collection of apples, shaking down nuts... we end up together in
front of the beautiful sunsets. Moments of friendship, laughter and
sharing are more effective than arnica to relieve body aches!
Will you be surprised to learn that we still need money in order to complete
this grand work? Probably not ... So, call all Demeter’s daughters and sons and
all the goddesses of abundance. Enthusiasm, energy, sweat and muscle will not
suffice... we are still paying for cement, wood, plaster and we need to collect a
few nuts!
